DBIA National Releases Education and Training Schedule

Northwest Region of the Design Build Institute of America

About the NW Region

The Northwest Region was chartered in 2002 for Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington by professionals representing all aspects of the design and construction industry in the Northwest. We support and promote the use of integrated design and construction for both public and private use.

DBIANW's educational program year runs from September through June, with monthly topical programs dealing with Design-Build issues such as Transportation, Water/Waste Water, Sustainability, and Energy Efficient/High Performance Buildings.

WSDOT Puget Sound Area Connecting Washington Program Open House Invite

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Northwest Region (NWR) would like to invite representatives of interested firms to attend an information session regarding upcoming consultant design opportunities. In attendance will be staff and senior management from the Sno-King and Mt. Baker areas of NWR, as well as staff from the I-405, SR 520, and Puget Sound Gateway Programs. There will also have staff from Consultant Services and the Office of Equal Opportunity present top answer process and policy related questions. WSDOT staff will be presenting information on design procurements for upcoming spring 2017 Connecting Washington Program projects, as well as information and anticipated timelines for upcoming and future Design-Build contract procurements.

The goal is to inform the consultant community while creating networking opportunities, particularly for firms that are qualified towards meeting our voluntary goals for small and women, minority, and veteran owned business participation.
